About Us
Kimberly Gibson, MPA/BSW, Executive Director
Kimberly Gibson is the founder/owner of Cypress Community Services. She has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Auburn University and Bachelors in Social Work from Eastern Kentucky University. Kim founded Cypress Community Services with the goal of ensuring quality living and advocacy for our participants. Kim is a devoted mom of two and enjoys participating in her girls' extracurriculars and being taxi mom!
Tara Bowen, Program Director
Tara Bowen is our Program Director. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Biological Science from Morehead State University. Tara has worked in the field for over ten years and enjoys seeking new opportunities for participants to experience. Tara enjoys leisure activities with her family and tackling a new skill in her free time. She has more houseplants than most and could technically say she resides in the jungle.
Heather Bustos, Assistant Program Director
Heather Bustos, is our Assistant Program Director. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Eastern Kentucky University. She has over ten years of experience in the field and specializes in advocating for others. Heather enjoys spending time with family and her house full of animals (don't ask her how many, there are a LOT!). She is also a skilled calligraphy artist- frequently designing entertaining signage for her coworkers' office walls.
Christaysha Cason, Administrative Assistant
Christaysha is our Administrative Assistant. She has worked in the field for a decade and has many certifications. She has recruited many wonderful staff to our crew and ensures all of our participants have everything they could need and want. In her free time Christaysha enjoys the newest episode of reality TV and crime shows and can cook some bomb dishes!
